LOCTITE® AA 3342, 300 ml Standard cartridge Loctite Industrial adhesives

A single-component, medium-high viscosity, fast-fixturing acrylic adhesive for bonding surface-permanent magnets (SPMs) in electric motors. LOCTITE® AA 3342 is a yellow-opaque, modified acrylic structural adhesive with a fixture time of 3 to 3.5 minutes, a shear strength of 15-30 N/mm², and very fast cure on activated surfaces. This makes the adhesive ideal for automated assembly lines with short cycle times. It is typically used for bonding small, rigid parts made of different materials. It tolerates operating temperatures up to 180°C (356°F), making it particularly useful where high heat resistance is required, e.g., when bonding ferrites in motor tubes. LOCTITE AA 3342 is a single-component adhesive but requires the activator LOCTITE® SF 7649 before use.
