A single-component, thixotropic structural adhesive for multiple materials and applications requiring toughness. LOCTITE® EA 9514 is a gray, opaque, impact-resistant, toughened epoxy adhesive suitable for a wide range of materials. This adhesive is typically used for applications requiring toughness and impact resistance, such as bonding filters and magnets. Its thixotropic properties make it easy to apply and ideal for filling gaps up to 3.0 mm. LOCTITE EA 9514 cures on exposure to heat, either by induction heating or conventional means, to form a rigid joint with high shear and peel strength, good chemical resistance, and reliable performance in high-temperature environments up to 200°C.
