LOCTITE® 5800, 300 ml Standard cartridge Loctite Industrial sealants LOCTITE® 5800 is a one-component dimethacrylate ester medium-strength surface sealant for sealing close-fitting connections between rigid metal surfaces and flanges: often gearbox and engine housings. It fluoresces under UV light – excellent for quality control. This red viscous sealant withstands low pressure immediately after assembly. Its thixotropic property makes it easy to apply and reduces sealant migration after application. It cures at room temperature when enclosed between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air. The product formula contains no hazard symbols, risk clauses, or safety clauses.
