Power bands
Power bands, just like regular V-belts, contain tension cords that contribute to the strength of the belt. The material of the power belt varies depending on the type. Most belts are made of Polychloroprene (PCP) or Polyurethane (PU), while the tension cords are usually made of Polyester (PES). In some cases, tension cords made of Aramid are used, a material known for its exceptionally low elongation, which allows for extremely high power transmission. Need advice? Use the contact form.
