Bearing housings together with matching bearings form an integrated unit that has proven its worth countless times in various machines and installations. The main material from which bearing housings are manufactured is grey cast iron. If desired, bearing housings can also be made of cast steel or nodular cast iron on request. In the bearing housing, the bearing seats are usually machined in such a way that the bearings can slide and function as loose bearings.
