New generation of Conti industrial timing belts made of EPDM
Continental is taking industrial drive technology to the next level. Effective January 1, 2026, traditional neoprene (CR) timing belts will be replaced by advanced, high-tech EPDM material combinations. This transition is more than a material change; it's an upgrade in performance, reliability, and durability. Whether it's extreme temperatures or heavy industrial loads, the new generation of timing belts is ready for the future.
The Synchroforce series: Three EPDM-based powerhouses
The renewed Synchroforce line offers a suitable solution for every application. The transition is clear and efficient:
- Conti Synchroforce: optimal for the lower and medium performance range and replaces the Conti Synchrobelt
- Conti Synchroforce Advance: designed for higher performance requirements and replaces the Conti Synchroforce CXP
- Conti Synchroforce Advance Pro: for the highest demands in challenging environments and replaces the Conti Synchroforce CXA
Instant upgrade, minimal effort
Switching to EPDM is easier than ever. The new timing belts are fully compatible with your existing systems. The pitches, lengths, and profiles remain unchanged, allowing you to swap belts immediately.
Note: When replacing, you only need to check the preload frequencies. The conversion will begin on January 1, 2026, for tooth pitches 8M and 14M.
Limitless possibilities
Thanks to its enhanced temperature resistance and robustness, the Synchroforce series can be used in virtually any industry. Consider:
- Heavy industry: Metallurgy, wood and building materials.
- Production & Logistics: Packaging machines and complex transport systems.
- Precision sectors: Textile, office and printing machines.
- Hygienic environments: Food and beverage industry.
